School of Transportation Academic Scholarships
Unlike OSAP, scholarships are money that you don’t have to repay. Scholarships are funds donated by individuals or corporations to assist you with the financial challenges of pursuing post-secondary studies.
The Academic scholarships on this webpage do not require an online application. Centennial College will select the recipient of these scholarships based on your academic performance at Centennial College. Awarded to three full-time students currently enrolled in the second semester of the (Automotive) Motive Power Technician (8202) program during the Winter term. The students must have been enrolled first semester in the same program, full-time during the Fall term. The students with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first semester of studies will be the recipients of this award.

Awarded to a full-time student currently enrolled in the second year of the (Automotive) Motive Power Technician (8202) program during the Fall term. The student must have interned and/or completed a work term co-op at an Active Green + Ross location. The student with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 will be the recipient of this award.

Awarded to a full-time student currently enrolled in the second year of the Motive Power Technician Program (8215) program during the Fall term. The student must have been enrolled in the same program, full-time during the previous academic year. The student with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first two semesters of studies will be the recipients of this award.

Awarded to one full-time student in the Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance Program (8112) and one full-time student in the Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance Program (8113). The students must be enrolled in the second year of the program during the Fall term. The students must have been enrolled in the same program, full-time during the previous academic year. The award will go to the students in each program who had the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first two semesters of studies. In the event of a tie, the program coordinators will nominate a winner based on the student that best demonstrates academic proficiency, integrity, safe work habits, leadership qualities and a professional attitude inside and out the classroom."

Awarded to five full-time students currently enrolled in the fourth semester of the Auto Body Repair Technician (8406) program during the Winter term. The students must have:
- Completed a paid work term placement at a BMW Certified Collision Repair Centre for a minimum of 3 months.
- Completed 15 online BMW courses with a minimum grade of 85%.
- Completed a one day in-class BMW Group Brand academy class.
- Registered as an apprentice with Industry Training authority.
- Maintained an attendance record of 85% throughout the program.
- Have an interest in luxury vehicles.
The students with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first two semesters of studies will be the recipients of this award.

Awarded to a full-time, female student currently enrolled in the second year of the Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance (8112) or Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance (8113) Program. Student must also have maintained an attendance of 75% or higher. The student with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first two semesters of studies will be the recipient of this award.

The student with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 will be the recipient of this award."

The students must have completed the Automotive Service Technician – Apprentice Training program Level 1 (8530) in the past. The students must be employed, or have completed a co-op work term at a Porsche Dealer Service Centre. The students with the highest cumulative grade point averages above 3.0 during the Automotive Service Technician – Apprentice Training program Level 1 (8530) will be the recipients of this award.
