Yes. Due to the global health pandemic, Centennial College has created special COVID-19 bursaries that international students can apply for. However, the majority of our bursaries are only for domestic students.
To be eligible for a bursary, you must have financial need that is equal to or greater than the value of the bursary. During the application process we will ask you questions regarding your living situation including your income and expenses for the semester. We will then assess your bursary application based on information what we have on your profile. Students who have too much money available to them are not eligible for a bursary.
Students who have entered their banking information will have their bursaries electronically transferred into their bank account. Students who have not entered their banking information will receive a cheque via mail to their permanent address.
Bursaries can take up to 3 weeks before you receive them. If this time period has passed, please contact our financial aid office and we will review the situation. Often bursaries are applied towards outstanding tuition fees.
